Senreta Vortaro (Offline Dictionary) is an English-Esperanto dictionary app inspired by the web page Tuja Vortaro. It is designed to be easy to use for beginners.

Sensify will let you see plots of various sensors available inside your phone like accelerometer, magnetic field sensor, light sensor, etc. It is made with an interactive real-time chart to understand data with zoom.

Senslogs records values from several smartphone sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetic Field, NFC,WiFi, GPS, camera, heart rate, proximity. Most of data is stored in files using space separated values.

This uses the Xposed Framework in order to the disable and modify sensors on a device. It requires you to not only be rooted, but to also have Xposed installed. If you don’t know what either of those are, this app will not work on your phone.This app can be used to disable your proximity sensor along with other sensors on your device.The proximity sensor is a sensor in most phones that tells the phone when the phone is near another object (generally a face.) If your screen frequently goes black when on a phone call and you can’t use it until the other party hangs up, this should fix your problem.Features:Can disable and modify most sensors on your phone (without requiring a restart).Can use Tasker to control sensor statuses. Sensorkraken collects raw sensor related data and provides them as structured data for later analysis on another machine. All available system sensors and some custom defined sources are used to record and export data for further analysis. The interval and sensors to be used can be individually defined and thus enables a highly customizable data collection application. The open source version of 4A Settings Database Editor. WARNING -- I do not guarantee that problems caused by the improper use of this utility can be fixed, and we are unable to help you with any such problems. We support only this app, not your device's system software. Settings Database Editor (SetEdit) is invaluable if you need it, but if you're not careful you're very likely to mess something up. By default, for your protection, Android prevents you from modifying the SECURE and GLOBAL tables. If you have Android Jellybean or later, you can remove this protection from an ADB shell using the command "pm grant io.github.muntashirakon.setedit android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS". On earlier versions, you can only remove this protection on a rooted device by installing SetEdit to the system partition. Both WRITE_SETTINGS and WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permissions are optional if you do not need to edit any items. This app needs to target API 22 because API 23 (Android M) onwards do not allow it to modify some setting items without elevated permissions such as root or ADB. In Android 14 onwards, a new restriction has been added that prevents an app targeting API 22 or earlier to be installed without elevated permission. You can install the application from an ADB shell using the following command: adb install --bypass-low-target-sdk-block SetEdit.apk Or, from a rooted shell: pm install --bypass-low-target-sdk-block SetEdit.apk (Replace `SetEdit.apk` with the actual file name or location.)

When doing reverse image search, Setter will resize the image to a low resolution and strip off EXIF data before upload it to the search engines. Setter will also rename the file to a generic name. Setter support and promot search engines which respect user's privacy, like DuckDuckGo, StartPage and Swisscows. Setter also support and recommend using a local dictionary app to guard your reading habit from leaking.

Many apps in other stores rely on editing the settings database for Android system to allow, for example, users to customize their phones. Now android doesn't allow apps that target API level above 22 to edit some settings. Using Settings Database Provider, apps can offer user to install this lightweight package to extend the app capability.

Share-to-folder is a share target that saves items shared with it to a folder. It is a convenient companion to apps that only allow to share data, but not to save it. It is also useful with apps that have a user interface for sharing that is more convenient than for saving or copying. For instance, in gallery you easily can use share to sort photos with just 2 taps per photo, whereas using copy would be more cumbersome. * no root is required * folders to which you have shared documents at least once are remembered as shortcuts * for security, sharing to a shortcutted folder is still subject to a confirmation dialog, but you can answer allow always if the target folder is not security critical. * you can browse your list of recently shared folders in the app’s main activity. Red are those that still require a confirmation to share to, and green are those to which you have answered always. You can remove the pre-authorization again in case you clicked always accidentally or made up your mind.

Share files and apps using browser. you need the other device to be connected to the same network. Files sent from browser to the app can be found in Sharing/ folder in your internal storage. You will need to send this app to the other device in case you sent an app with split apk files. Make sure you use hotspot to get faster speeds transferring files. Shelter is a Free and Open-Source (FOSS) app that leverages the "Work Profile" feature of Android to provide an isolated space that you can install or clone apps into. For a full description, please read from the Git repository of Shelter. A summary is provided below. The main use-cases of Shelter include: - Installing apps inside a work profile for isolation - "Freeze" apps inside the work profile to prevent them from running or being woken up when you are not actively using them - Installing two copies of the same app on the same device Note that Shelter depends on the Work Profile feature of the Android system, so any bugs related to Work Profiles in the Android-derived system you are using will affect Shelter. In addition, Shelter can only be as secure as the Work Profile implementation.

SherpaTTS is an Android Text-to-Speech engine based on Next-gen Kaldi using Piper or Coqui voices. Upon launching the app for the first time, it will download your preferred voice model from Hugging Face. Please note that this is the only instance where internet permission is required. Once the model is downloaded, text-to-speech works entirely offline, ensuring your privacy and convenience.

When developing apps that requires root, the most common method is to run some commands in the su shell. For example, there is app uses pm enable/disable command to enable/disable components. This method has very big disadvantages:Extremely slow (Multiple process creation)Needs to process texts (Super unreliable)The possibility is limited to available commandsEven if adb has sufficient permissions, the app requires root privileges to runShizuku uses a completely different way. The most important feature Shizuku provides is something like be a middle man to receive requests from the app, sent to the system server, and send back the results. To the app, it is almost identical to the use system APIs directly. But it's much faster as it hooks into the system directly.Several apps already use Shizuku. ShockAlarm is a powerful tool for controlling your Shockers via OpenShock. It allows you to fully manage your shockers, logs, shares, hubs, and share links. There is advanced functionaity like controling multiple shockers at the same time and specifying a random interval for intensity, duration and a delay (if you're into that). It's fully material you themed just like the standard Android apps you're already used to and provides a responsive ui with a nice design. Furthermore it fixes some layout flaws of the official OpenShock Frontend like having shared and own shockers in seperate tabs (which is annoying). On top it also has lots of info buttons you can press to get more insight on what something does. This app uses https://openshock.app/ by default but self hosted instances can be used as well.
