Local GSM Location - A local cell tower based back
APK
A backend for the µg Project's network location provider that uses local GSM data to resolve user location. See [https://github.com/microg] A facility in the setting menu allows you to create a database using data from [http://opencellid.org OpenCellId] and/or [https://location.services.mozilla.com Mozilla Location Services] CSV files. Alternatively, the on-phone database can be generated in advance via the [https://github.com/n76/lacells-creator lacells-creator] scripts that gather tower information from those two sources, too. You can improve the quality of the data used by this location provider by contributing to either or both of those projects. This backend performs no network data to resolve locations, no queries are made to a centralized AP location provider.

Local NLP Backend
APK
The backend passively monitors the GPS and scans for nearby WiFis and mobile cells/towers. From this a database of emitter locations is created. When UnifiedNlp / microG request a location from Local NLP Backend, a scan for nearby emitter is initiated and a location determined based on the scan results. Local NLP Backend is a fork of the Déjà Vu NLP Backend with some improvements and a crude UI for configuration and importing / exporting data, including cell lists from MLS or OpenCelliD. This backend uses no network data. All data acquired by the phone stays on the phone, though it may be exported manually. How to use: Local NLP Backend can be used like Déjà Vu: just enable the backend and let it build up the database by frequently having GPS enabled, e.g. using a map app. If you have a Déjà Vu database (you'll need root privileged to extract it), it can be imported in Local NLP Backend. Further import options are databases exported by Local NLP Backend, and cell csv files from MLS or OpenCelliD. Note that the local database needs to be filled, either using GPS or by importing data, before Local NLP Backend can provide locations! In order to speed up building the database, LocalNLP has an optional active mode that enabled GPS when there is no known emitter nearby (low setting) or when any unknown emitter is found (aggressive setting). Note that microG has stopped supporting UnifiedNlp backends with 0.2.28. If you still want to use this backend (or others), you need to use older microG versions. This can only be recommended if you use microG for location only. Personally I use 0.2.10, as with later versions location backends stop providing locations after some time.

APK
Note: this project seems to be abandoned. LocalProxy provides local proxy service on the device. This with the main objective of carrying out the authentication process with a proxy server and in this way allow access to the Internet in the installed applications.Initially it is very similar to applications like UCIntlm or UCIProxy, that is, it allows access to the Internet through the proxy server of a certain institution. Its difference lies in the idea that led to its development: it must operate in as many Cuban institutional networks as possible.

LocalWifiNlpBackend
APK
https://f-droid.org/packages/com.google.android.gms backend that uses locally acquired WiFi AP data to resolve user location. This backend consists of two parts sharing a common database. One part passively monitors the GPS. If the GPS has acquired and has a good position accuracy, then the WiFi APs detected by the phone are stored. The other part is the actual location provider which uses the database to estimate location when the GPS is not available or has not yet gotten its first fix. The use of stored WiFi AP can dramatically decrease the GPS time to first fix. This backend performs no network data. All data acquired by the phone stays on the phone and no queries are made to a centralized AP location provider.

Location Indicator Whitelist
APK
Location Indicator Whitelist is an XPosed / LSPosed module that prevents applications from spamming the annoying location notification dot on Android 12 + LineageOS.Some apps do access the location in background for legitimate reasons, and the user may not want to be interrupted because of that. Some location providers packages aren't whitelisted by ROMs.The "Status bar location indicator" switch in developer options has a lot of drawbacks: it disables all notifications when the user might actually find the notification dot useful, doesn't survive a reboot, meaning that you consistently have to switch it off – and it is buggy: if you disable it at the wrong moment, you may get the notification dot stuck on your screen until you reboot. On LOS20, it seems that it even doesn't prevent the location notification dot from showing at all.So this module allows you to whitelist trusted apps.

Location Privacy - BETA
APK
Just click on a link that points to a location, and LocationPrivacy will show up as one of the options. If you select it, then it will use the most private way possible to get the location from that link. It will then forward the location to the map app that you choose. LocationPrivacy is not really app but rather a set of "privacy filters" for all of the various ways of sharing location. When you click on a location link in one app, LocationPrivacy offers itself as an option. It then recognizes insecure methods of sharing location, and then converts them to the most private methods available. For many links, the location can be read without even going online. For others, LocationPrivacy reads the location from the webpage via Tor, so that it cannot be tracked to you. Whenever possible, the connection uses HTTPS. OsmAnd is the recommended map app for private location because it works fully offline and we have audited it. LocationPrivacy will work with basically all map apps. LocationPrivacy can also serve as a way to redirect all location links to your favorite mapping app. All map apps in Android can view `geo:` URIs, and LocationPrivacy converts many kinds of links to `geo:` URIs, including: Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Amap, Baidu Map, QQ Map, Nokia HERE, Yandex Maps. Lockscreen Widgets
APK
A (very) long time ago, Android introduced a feature to allow you to show certain widgets on the lock screen. For some reason, this useful feature was removed with the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop, confining widgets to the home screen only. While some manufacturers, such as Samsung, have brought back limited versions of lock screen widgets, you’re usually limited to the widgets the manufacturer has already created for you.Well, no more! Lockscreen Widgets brings back the functionality of yore, with some extra features. Note that Lockscreen Widgets is not designed to function on the Always-On Display.Lockscreen Widgets appears as a paged "frame" on top of your lock screen.Add a widget by tapping the plus button in the frame. This plus button will always be the last page. Each widget you add gets its own page, or you can have multiple widgets per page. You can press, hold, and drag widgets to reorder them. You can press and hold widgets to remove them or edit their size.Tap the frame with two fingers to enter the editing mode where you can resize and move the frame.Tap the frame with three fingers to temporarily hide it. It will show up again once the display turns off and back on.Any home screen widget can be added as a lock screen widget.Lockscreen Widgets also includes an optional Widget Drawer!Widget Drawer has a handle you can swipe to bring it up from anywhere, or you can use the Tasker integration or shortcut to open it however you want. The drawer is a vertically scrolling list of widgets that can be resized and moved the same way as in the Lockscreen Widgets frame. And this is all without ADB or root! All the basic privileges can be granted without even thinking about using a computer. Unfortunately, with Android 13 and later, you may need to use ADB or Shizuku to enable Masked Mode.On the topic of privileges, these are the more sensitive permissions that Lockscreen Widgets needs to function:Accessibility. In order to display on the lock screen, Lockscreen Widgets’ Accessibility Service must be enabled. You will be prompted to enable it if needed in the initial setup, and any time you open the app.Notification Listener. This permission is only required if you want the widget frame to hide when notifications are displayed. You will be prompted if it’s needed.Dismiss Keyguard. In order to improve the user experience, Lockscreen Widgets will dismiss the lock screen (or show the security input view) when it detects an Activity being launched from a widget, or when you press the "Add Widget" button. This will not compromise your device’s security in any way.And that’s it. Don’t believe me? Lockscreen Widgets is open source! The link is at the bottom.Lockscreen Widgets only works on Android Lollipop 5.1 and later because the necessary system features for displaying on the lock screen didn’t exist in Lollipop 5.0. Sorry, 5.0 users. If you have a question, send me an email, or join the TG group: https://bit.ly/ZachareeTG. Please be as specific as possible with your problem or request.

LockscreenEar
APK
LockscreenEar is a lockscreen for people with perfect pitch.Although this app is supposed to be a lockscreen, it is also an excellent tool to improve your musical ear, in fact, in the training mode, once you set the number of notes to be guessed at the same time, you can listen the output as mutch as you want and you will also get the solution from the lowest note to the highest.Warnings: If enabled, the main service undertakes, after the device wakes up (e.g after the keyguard is gone), to start the lockscreen offered by LockscreenEar. If during this activity any action is taken to bypass it, the screen will be locked again. Please do not start it if you do not have perfect pitch, you may not be able to unlock your screen in emergency situations, although there is a test to be passed in order to be able to start it.
